Marangu Colobus Travel was established in 1997 to specialize in adventure holidays in Tanzania. Predominantly centered at the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the various trekking routes. The company has expanded to include trekking on the lesser known Mt. Meru, and to encompass wildlife safaris in the Northern Tanzania Game Parks, not forgetting beach holidays on the mainland coast and the Islands of Zanzibar. In addition, we organize cultural tourism in the Kilimanjaro area with the Chagga, and beyond with other interesting tribes.

Marangu Colobus Travel was established in 1997 to specialize in adventure holidays in Tanzania. Predominantly centered at the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the various trekking routes. Based in the beautiful little town of Moshi at the foot of Kilimanjaro, the company is ideally located to arrange and operate treks on the mountain. Treks start from Moshi, where it is possible to hire equipment and clothing. It is important for us to ensure that trekkers which travel with us are fully briefed and equiped, so as to have the most enjoyable, safe, and successful experience on the mountain.
